Wenkchemna Pass, in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, is one of the classic, premier high- alpine hikes in Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies overall, particularly in the fall when the larch trees are changing colors. Join the NMC as we tackle the almost 20 km out-and-back trail for a full day of challenging and rewarding hiking.

Previous hiking experience (600+m elevation gain hikes) and high level of fitness
Distance: 19.4km
Elevation Gain: 725m
Time to complete: 5-7 hrs
Requirements: Previous hiking experience and high level of fitness
Meeting Location: Moraine Lake Parking Lot (12 km from Lake Louise)
Meeting Time: 9:00am SHARP
We need a minimum of 4 fit people to do this hike, as this is the minimum group size Parks Canada requires due to grizzly and black bear activity in the area.
